When do reading records and reading books need bringing into school?
The children should keep their reading records up to date and bring them, and their reading book, in every day even if they have not finished their book. We would like parents listen to their child read, initial their reading record and to discuss their book with them at least once a week. Activities in the reading logs can be completed as a when your child wants to.
What are the activities for home learning?
Each week:
Children should now have their login information for each of the above - these will be stuck inside the front or back cover of their Reading Log. Please let us know if you need another copy.
This term in R.E., children will explore how Jesus began His mission and the role of His apostles in spreading the Good News. They will learn about the meaning and mission of a diocese, the challenges the apostles faced in encouraging others to follow Jesus, and the importance of unity within Christian communities.
This term, we will be diving into an exciting writing project inspired by the text Arthur and the Golden Rope. Our ultimate goal is to create our own Norse myths, blending creativity with our own historical knowledge about the Vikings from last term.
Text Study: We’ll explore Arthur and the Golden Rope, analysing its themes, characters, and storytelling techniques to inspire our own writing.
