The Home Learning Support section has home learning folders for pupils currently self-isolating. Please see class pages for updates on children's learning this half-term.

Our Learning Powers are a series of 7 characters developed by children and staff which we now use throughout the school to help promote the right attitudes to learning.

Each character represents an aspect of learning which, it they concentrate on it, will help the children to make progress. For example, 'STAY CURIOUS'. This is explained in more detail as follows:

  • Ask questions
  • Notice things
  • Look for problems and connections
  • Problem solve
  • Think of possible reasons
  • Research
  • Ask 'What if?'

Each character is also linked to a liturgical reference which tries to explain the sentiment underpinning each aspect of learning to improve understanding.
