Mrs Collins: Co-Headteacher
Hello, my name is Mrs Collins. I qualified as a teacher in 2000 and I have been working at St Mary’s since 2006. I also went to St Mary’s when I was a child with my twin brother and older sister. Mr Cunliffe was my Year 6 teacher! When I am not at school I love spending time with my 2 young sons, going for walks in the countryside, camping and riding our bikes. I love spending time with my family. I have two sons and spend most of my spare time watching them running or playing football. I love being outdoors. I especially enjoy walking and bike rides.
My favourite article from the UNCRC:
A right that is important to me is Article 28:‘Every child has the right to an education.’ Primary education should be free. Secondary and higher education should be available to every child. Children should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level possible. Discipline in schools should respect children’s rights and never use violence.
