TIME
- Talk to your child about the minute and second hands on a clock.
- Can they tell the time talking about minutes to and minutes past the hour? Ask them constantly.
- Can they add and subtract time? Work out how long an event lasts? What time will it finish?
- Can your child read the digital time?
- Use the tv guide to work out how long programmes last in minutes?
- Know the number of seconds in an hour; hours in a day; know the number of days in each month and a year and leap year.
