A Reflection To Share At Home
Below is a beautiful reflection for these times which you can read and share with your family. There are so many small, everyday things which we take for granted but which we miss now they are gone.
When this is over,
may we never again take for granted:
A handshake with a stranger,
Full shelves at the store,
Conversations with neighbours,
A crowded theater,
Friday night out,
The taste of communion,
A routine checkup,
The school rush each morning,
Coffee with a friend,
The stadium roaring,
Each deep breath!
A boring Tuesday.
Life itself.
When this ends,
may we find that we have become
more like the people
we wanted to be,
we were called to be,
we hope to be,
and may we stay that way —
better for each other
because of the worst."

The Cafod website also has prayers to say at home during the current emergency together with children's liturgies for each week which have lots of activities and resources to go alongside them. This is the link to their website https://cafod.org.uk/.
May Is The Month Of Mary
May is the Month of Mary when we think about Mary's role as mother of Jesus and say her special prayer every day. The words of the Hail Mary are set out below for you to say the prayer at home.
Hail Mary full of Grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.
In May we usually dedicate our altars in school to Our Lady so this link to a powerpoint from Twinkl helps you if you would like to set up an altar to Mary at home
