I am a year six teacher and the Science co-ordinator at St. Mary’s. I have been teaching for a very long time and have taught in lots of different settings other than Primary Schools. Science is my first love – I can’t believe how curious the children at our school are. I really enjoy teaching English as I love encouraging children’s creativity come alive. At home, I have a very excitable dog called Lottie – she is crazy! I spent a lot of time walking her and trying to stop her from barking! I really value my time with my lovely family (usually driving them from one club to another) but also like a bit of quiet time so that I can read and paint.
All children have all these rights, no matter who they are, where they live, what language they speak, what their religion is, what they think, what they look like, if they are a boy or girl, if they have a disability, if they are rich or poor, and no matter who their parents or families are or what their parents or families believe or do. No child should be treated unfairly for any reason.
