Rosary and Prayer Club
This week we have planned and led Prayer Club for children in Key Stage 1 and 2. This week's theme was hope which is the theme of the first week of Advent. We lit the first Advent calendar on the wreath in our Chapel and said a prayer for the lighting of the first Advent candle.
We are really proud to have helped in preparing the Advent wreathe around school and it was lovely to have our first Advent Prayer Club in the Chapel where it felt so calm and peaceful.
We have been gathering to pray the rosary throughout the month of October.
Our prayer groups have been looking at the Wednesday Word and thinking about Sundays Gospel and how we can spread the word of the Lord.
We have prayed together.
