Mr McAndrew - Year 3/4 Teacher
Hello I'm Mr McAndrew and here is some information about me. I love to keep active and go for runs and play sports throughout the week. In my spare time I sometimes enjoy watching my favourite football team Oldham Athletic on a Saturday. I also like to go on long, outdoor walks with my cocker spaniel called Ruby. I look forward to seeing you in September.
My favourite article from the UNCRC:
My favourite is article 22 - children who move from their home country to another country as refugees (because it was not safe for them to stay there) should get help and protection and have the same rights as children born in that country. It shows that all children - even if they are a refugees - have the same rights all around the world. I love this right as it reminds me how we should treat people who arrive into the UK wishing for a better life. I wish that adults in this country recognised this right is the same for refugees that arrive to our country as adults.
